Love hearing about another exciting European start up. The cool part is that I think the turbulent period they went through and, as crazy as it sounds, a modest Series B will set them up for longer more resilient success. I bet they learned so much from how to work with their customers and deliver the best service possible. I have no doubt this will serve them well as they expand.

Sunflower Labs feels like one of those startups that earned its second act the hard way. From nearly collapsing in 2020 to winning Sequoia’s backing, it’s a story of grit and timing. The pivot from luxury homes to commercial sites shows real maturity, and the tech now seems genuinely differentiated. With FAA rules shifting and security budgets rising, its drones might finally be in the right place at the right moment.
